Some bad moments
Worked via lightning connector connected to controller initially then nothing. Tried restarting, rebooting and unplugging connector with no success. Other apps I have work with controller and lightning connector so thats not the problem.
Its amazing and the price is excelent! Much better than a lot of expensive apps.
But not!! Real piano is the best: this is second. I like it cause it has other nice instrument sounds. Keyboard size not customizable enough but ok
Cant record songs
Ive got a ton of piano apps, but I got this for the harpsichord of which there are few options out there. The extra MIDI features and inter-app audio allow me to use my external keyboard and record into Garageband. Plus the developers have interacted with me for support concerns and have been very good at being responsive. Also, that guitar sound played like a chorus in keyboard makes me feel just like Queens Brian May. 5 stars just for that!
This app is smooth, simplistic, elegant, and looks stunning on the retina screen! It also gives you many tools! You can select from a variety of instruments and you can use the dual piano to play 2 sections of the piano at once! Also, you can adjust the amount of keys to be displayed on your screen making them bigger or smaller. Heres the best part! The app includes an interactive dictionary of every chord sorted alphabetically which you can click to scroll your piano over to; the keys of the chord will also highlight showing you the correct notes to play which makes this app an awesome learning resource! For anyone who wants to learn to play the piano through exploration or on the go or for those who cant stand to be away from one I would highly recommend this app! Also you can record your playing, simulate the foot pedal, and display the names of all of the notes right on the keys! Fantastic job developer! You deserve to be featured on the front of the App Store!
